Ireland Meets ELV Target 2018

Target Success! We are delighted to share that Ireland has met target for 2018 under the ELV Directive.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) yesterday released the draft figures for 2018 in which Ireland met and exceeded the annual 85% reuse and recycling and 95% reuse, recycling and recovery targets for End-of-Life Vehicles. This makes 2018 the first year the national targets were met since they were raised in 2015.

The ELVES Network have contributed significantly to this achievement with over 70% of CoDs processed through member ATFs. This national success follows the ELVES Network having met the higher targets in 2017. 2020 is ELVES fourth year of operation and the team look forward to continuing to have a positive impact on ELV processing in Ireland.
